It's been 7 months and 9 days since Super Bowl XLIII. Finally, the NFL is back. Enjoy every minute as it will go much faster than it got here.
Those of us competing in the fantasy league I belong to, have been predicting the NFL for over 18 seasons now. No, we are still not very good at it. Yes, I have predicted the Super Bowl winner a couple of times and in 1995 I predicted the winner and loser of the Super Bowl. With all of that said, I strongly urge you to make your own predictions. It will become more addictive every year. However, I would highly recommend you only predict, DON'T WAGER - unless you have money to lose. For your entertainment pleasure only and because I don't have much of a life here are some predictions for you ridicule me about.
NFC Division Champs - Giants, Packers, Saints, Seahawks
NFC Wild Cards - Eagles, Vikings
AFC Division Champs - Patriots, Steelers, Colts, Chargers
AFC Wild Cards - Titans, Ravens
NFL MVP - Drew Brees.....OFF. Rookie of YR - Donald Brown -Colts...
Def. Rookie of Yr - Brian Arapko - Redskins
Def. MVP - Mario Williams...Coach of the Yr - Mike Tomlin - Steelers
NFC Champ - Giants over Packers
AFC Champ - Steelers over Chargers
Super Bowl XLIV - Steelers over Giants
Super Bowl XLIV MVP - Ben Roethlisberger
Boy, that was difficult. Like trying to make spotted paint. The NFL becomes more convoluted every year. Enjoy!
